Our annual Costume Days events, this year from July 9-27, include three weeks of planning and making costumes, props, and dramatic settings representing children’s interests, fascinations, dreams, and preferred associations.
During the first two weeks, children and their parents begin planning and making the costumes and props at home. In the last week, Costume Week, they finish making the costumes and props and put on skits, plays, and parades; make movies; and, join their costumed parents, siblings, and teachers on the last day for the big program-wide Costume Party Potluck.
C5 features a curriculum primarily based on children's personal interests, fascinations, and different learning styles.
