Innovative Teacher Project Roundtables

C5 Children's School is a member of the Innovative Teacher Project, which is a group of preschools in Northern California who are inspired by the the preprimary schools in Reggio Emilia, Italy and adapt and apply some of the principles and practices from Reggio in their own schools.

Each month during the public school year, on a Saturday Morning, one of the Innovative Teacher Project member schools in the San Francisco Bay area hosts a roundtable at their school that includes a presentation of some aspect of their own program. They facilitates a discussion of related topics and conduct a tour of their facility.

The sessions are open to the public, and there is no charge. They are usually wonderful opportunities to learn more about the influences of the Reggio Emilia Schools on schools in the U.S.
